Meet Dan Minich

Dan is a native of McKean County, being born and raised in Bradford, PA. Dan graduated from Bradford Area High School in 2003 where he played football and basketball. He completed his undergraduate studies on a full academic scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, earning a Bachelor of Business Science in 2007. Dan attended St. Bonaventure University when he returned to Bradford in 2012 where he earned his Masters of Business Administration. While attending St. Bonaventure, Dan specialized in electives including Money Management, Managing Financial Institutions, and Derivative Strategies.

In January 2014 Dan accepted the position of Branch Manager, AVP for PNC Bank where he served for a little over a year. In January 2015 Dan made his transition to Ameriprise Financial as a Paraplanner, becoming a Financial Advisor in November of 2015. Throughout this time Dan has pursued and completed the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor designation and is currently a CFP candidate looking to complete his certification in early 2021. Dan became Managing Partner in September of 2019 before leaving to launch Minich Financial Group in June of 2020.

Dan is heavily involved with the YMCA Association. In addition to serving as a volunteer fitness instructor, he serves on the Branch, Association and Foundation Board of Directors for the YMCA of the Twin Tiers. Dan serves as VP for the Board of Directors of The Bradford Public Library and serves on the Board of Trustee’s for The Guidance Center. Dan is also the Founder of Network of the Spirit Ministries which specializes in the development and oversight of Sober Living Facilities to combat the Heroin/Opioid and Substance Abuse epidemic. Dan received the Community Spirit award from the Bradford Chamber of Commerce and Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for his work with the Sober Living Ministry.
